Background
Port Dickson Polytechnic was established in 1990 with an area of 100 acres. It is the sixth polytechnic built under the Polytechnic Management Division, Technical Education Department, Ministry of Education Malaysia. Its construction was fully financed by the World Bank and can accommodate approximately 1,200 full-time students. Starting with an intake of 120 students in 1990, enrollment has grown to 3156 students in various fields.
