Background

The faculty was established in 1967 known at one time as the Study of Painting and Architecture and later separated into 2 separate studies namely the Study of Painting and Design and the Study of Architecture, Planning and Surveying. In 1997, the Study of Architecture, Planning and Surveying was changed to the Faculty of Architecture, Planning and Surveying. FSPU was created at UiTM Perak in 1985 with the Real Estate Management Diploma Program as the first pioneer. There are 3 UiTM branches that provide architecture programs under FSPU, namely Puncak Alam Campus, Seri Iskandar Campus and Kota Samarahan Campus.
