Zone 5 comprises of the heritage buildings on Jalan Bukit Timbalan, Jalan Duke and Jalan Dhoby. The significant heritage building included the Bangunan Sultan Ibrahim which symbolized the glory of Johor in the past, the Masjid India which is the gathering place for the Indian Muslim community and Bank Negara building which is the early modern landmark built during the post-Merdeka era as well as other historical shophouses.
